While the second day of the Hillhead Quarrying, Construction and Recycling exhibition was badly affected by heavy storms, the third day was blessed with fine weather. This biennial exhibition once again drew the key players as well as those more generally supplying these industries to catch up with what’s new and to network.
Watts staff visited to meet with clients on their stands and to discuss ways in which Watts could improve its products to meet the needs of these ever-evolving industries.
Watts Wheels & Tyres has successfully brought over 6 months’ preparatory work to conclusion with the launch of its range of 14 wheels for the powered vertical access machines available to collaborating clients within 24 hours, when ordered before 2pm for delivery in mainland UK. The powered access market covers machines like cherry-pickers, scissor lifts and low level access platforms used internally and externally.
Earlier this year the Watts Technical Solutions team was approached by an authority responsible for the general maintenance and refurbishment of a major bridge crossing with a problem. The authority needed to replace the coverings of the expansion joints of the bridge platforms.
